Its still Sunday 11:53 pm and I am on my couch. I cannot sleep. God answered one of my prayer requests and gave me a job! I cannot say I wasn’t happy with YFC but there was something missing. (I guess that’s all I wanna say!) Tomorrow I start my new job at Easter Seals. I get in at 10:30am (just tomorrow) and I am getting trained all day! I will be one of the supervisors so I will have some sort of authority. That scares me! I am praying I will be a good boss. One of those that inspire the employees to do better and to dream big! One of those that will have a good relationship with the employees and respect them! One of those bosses that are willing to learn from others and respect opinions! One of those supervisors that will listen and work to have the employees working in a good environment! Oh gosh I am praying I don’t use passive aggressive language! I have been around it so much that I have noticed I use sometimes… I really dislike it! I really don’t wanna be like that one boss I had that would blame others for the mistakes this boss made! I have had so many bosses in my life. This is gonna be different.

Today is my last day in Youth For Christ! God opened a huge door for me! God is awesome! Now I am working like crazy trying to leave everything done so I won’t be needed around here! What are you going to do now you might ask? Well I am going to be working in Easter Seals. I will have the awesome opportunity to work with adults with disabilities! I am so happy! I am gonna miss YFC but I cannot wait to see what God had for me! :D

My life makes no sense! There is nothing amazing about Esli’s life! If I could only describe a good picture of how Esli is or if you could only go in my head and see for yourself, you will know I am disgusting! (Of course I am working very hard! Every day is a new start!)
My life makes no sense outside the grace of my dear Lord! It’s humbling to be part of His people. It’s humbling that He would use someone like me! Last year working with Nick Vujicic was a HUGE deal for me! For several reasons! Gosh I learned a lot about myself… And other people… Things I wish I would have not known!
Anyways… This year I get to work with Mr. Vujicic again. He wants me to put this event together here in the Imperial Valley. This event is part of this thing called I HEART CAMPAIGN. Let me explain a little bit… This campaign started when this band called Elliot and other people decided they wanted to do something for their community. So they put together a one day of service and invited Nick Vujicic to come and speak to close the day of serving. Nick fell in love with the idea and encouraged this people to do this in different cities…and now he is part of this campaign. Nick called me and asked if I wanted to do it. And I said yes. Now me and pastor Jon Lowry have a group of people planning this event. The only difference is that we will have three days of serving… Not only one!
Here is something you should know about me… If I am gonna do something I am gonna do it right!… SO Instead of only one day we are planning three!!! God is on our side! He’s got this!

Let me tell you something… I HAVE NEVER PLANNED MY WEDDING! if you are a girl and you reading this… It might come as a shock to you! Yeah I know! Many girls plan their wedding way before they even start dating…not me! I don’t like to plan that kind of stuff cuz if it doesn’t come up the way I want…I will have a tantrum! This is why when I go to the salon I never tell the hairstylist how to do my hair… I let them get creative and then I pray I like it! Haha

I love to decorate. I always have! I like to decorate my home and parties. And if I am not the one decorating I like to see other people decorate! It is in my genes. My mom and sister are the same way… Maybe I should stop working on my human behavior degree and be an interior decorator/designer… Yeah I won’t!
Ok I should just get to the point here… Gosh I talk too much! By the way I love Siri! She is the one typing… I am just talking!
Ok so I NEED YOUR HELP! the other day I was reading my Bible looking for some guidance with this event! So I was reading Luke because I love to read the red letters! *Sigh* and the light bulb turned on when I read Luke 14:12-14 it says
“when you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”
SO…I WANNA DO THAT!!! I want to plan this AMAZING reception just like I would if I was getting married but invite homeless, prostitutes, and even those who are disabled! And JUST LOVE ON THEM!!! I wanna have great food, live music (maybe ;) last years worship band can play ) I want them to feel like royalty! I want them to feel the way God sees them!!!
Imagine having a place that nice (like the pictures I posted!) for them!!!
And maybe have gifts! Maybe a new outfit for them! Maybe gift cards for stores! Ahhh I am so excited!!!
SO I NEED YOUR HELP! I don’t know how I am gonna pay for all this… I don’t know how to even start… CAN YOU PLEASE PRAY??!!! pray that God opens doors for this to happen! So far He has been amazing! The good thing is that this time I have an amazing man of God directing the community outreach… I haven’t talked to him about this! Haha I hope he thinks this is a good idea! ;)
